Tournament structure
Here’s your quick guide to the latest Pokémon TCG tournament rules — eligibility, deck checks, and the new Standard rotation.
Who Can Play:
• Open to anyone with a single Player ID through the Pokémon Trainer Club.
• Not eligible: Suspended players and event staff.
Format & Regulations
• The event uses the Standard Format.
• Legal cards are determined by their regulation marks.
• As of April 11, 2025, the “F” regulation mark has rotated out.
• Only cards with “G,” “H,” “I,” and any future regulation marks are legal.
Deck Lists & Legality Checks
• All players must submit deck lists.
• Deck checks are required at Championship-level events.
• Judges will inspect at least 10% of decks, but staff may increase this number if needed.
